Pedal effect missing after adding repeat

In my score, after adding repeats, the pedal goes missing in some bars - not contiguously but randomly - and then reappears later on. This must be a bug unless I’ve forgotten to turn off “Preserve strange behavior when adding repeats” in Playback Options.

(I've read about similar pedal issues but after 2022 people seem to have given up on complaining.)
