The sttuter bug is still present in v 8.5.
Steinberg please fix this issue ASAP because it makes any fast editing impossible. REverting back to 8.0.20 which was the last usable version. 
Really? I thought for sure they would have fixed that one.
I wonder if it will be addressed in the upcoming 8.0.40 release.
Absolutely ridiculous that this bug has not been fixed.
