Percussion condensing places Glock 2 octaves up

I have a very busy passage of my score, and to save space I’m trying to condense percussion 2 stave into percussion 1.
percussion 2 has only rests for the next 2 pages, but was playing tubular bells just before.
attempting to condense the two scores puts the glockenspiel part 2-3 octaves up.
my guess is that its transposing the glock to sounding pitch, rather than written pitch.
hoping there is a solution here, cause I’m very stuck.

Welcome to the forum, @DuncanA.

I’m afraid there’s no way to change the transposition for condensed music. You could consider transposing the music down by two octaves so that the condensed music looks correct, and then consider your options for what to do in the instrumental part. You could I think create a clef change in the part and apply a compensatory octave shift there, which I think should be ignored in the condensed staff.
