Hi all! I’ve seen a few forum posts about instrument change placement and am aware that “early” and “late” instrument change placement is forthcoming at some point. In the meantime, though, is there any workaround for this situation? I can’t figure out any manner of delaying the 5-line staff those few extra millimeters.

Try adding a Chord Symbol Region (from the Write menu) to the Snare Drum, and extending it through bar 112. It doesn’t matter whether or not your project actually contains chord symbols; if it does and you don’t want to see them, you can hide them from the properties panel.

In case anyone comes across this later, the one additional step I had to do was to force duration in the snare drum part to show three eighth rests instead of a dotted quarter. If I didn’t do that, then I got this:
But once I forced the duration it worked perfectly (I would add the image here, but new users can’t do two photos at once!).
