Hey all,
I love Dorico and all its new and old functionality, but I’m getting ever so slightly annoyed at this persisting issue as per this GIF. The last three keystrokes are actually Ctrl-Z (Undo) operations, and before I’m just adjusting the slur…
Can somebody confirm this behavior? Just to make sure I’m not seeing things?

I can reproduce this here, yes. It looks like a problem with the way that Dorico is recalculating bits of the score when edits are made. Note that isn’t a permanent problem - if you save, close and reopen the score the slurs will be back to sensible positions - but obviously it’s still not right and I can see how it makes fine editing a pain.
I’ll log the problem for one of our developers to looks at.

However, I’ve brought this to the attention of the team already over a year ago…
But I’m glad that folks are taking a look at this now.
See, the issue is not that the file in its present state can’t be recovered, as you correctly stated, but that it becomes basically uneditable, since even a minute change in the layout makes these areas go bonkers…
