Am I the only one that would see value to this idea?
In both Engrave and Write modes, there is plenty of space up in the top middle of the toolbar to have “indicator lights” for which Globally/Locally mode is active for changes you make in the score and parts. I keep finding myself popping open the Properties bar at the bottom to make sure I’m in the right mode.
I very much second this suggestion, for the reason stated.
As this is a quite important status information, the place for it, in my opinion, should be down in the status bar.
I agree that this would be an important addition. I tend to like using the space that @D.Galbraith suggested because the bottom is so busy already. Maybe just a colored bar with green for local and yellow for global.
