Please how to we get the guitar fretboard displayed in Dorico 6 and is it the same for the piano keyboard?

Select a fretted instrument (eg Guitar)… and click the guitar icon…

In the score you would see “Guitar” on the left of that stave for the instrument name, if you click on “Guitar” you still will not see the fretboard. Click inside the first measure or on a note on the guitar stave or double-click in the first measure as if you want to start adding notes.

I don’t have Guitar name on the left of the guitar Staff. So I already entered all the notes on the guitar staff but I don’t know what to do in order to have the panel showing Guitar Fretboard and piano.

Are you in Write mode? Is what you want to see as @Janus has shown you in the screenshot?
The lower panel is Window menu > Show Lower Zone (in Write mode)

Thanks for your explanations and time. Yes, I can now access the Lower zone, and I can see in write mode that the guitar icon and piano icon are displayed, I can open the piano icon but even though my project is in guitar with tablature, the fretboard is not showing in the lower zone. Do you know why?

If you now click on a note in the score does it then appear?

Yes indeed it works when I press a note.
Thanks for telling me that trick I’ll never forget it
Thanks for your quick response now I can try to figure out doing my tab by putting notes into the fretboard instead of in the staff. I have to figured it all out by trial and errors.
