In case anyone fancies listening to a piano quintet in a sort of late romantic format and has around 38’ to spare, then I invite you to try out my latest. Written in ten days, it was originally inspired by the great 2nd quintet of Fauré and indeed at one point quotes him though the overall emotional tenor is rather different and, I would say, more ambiguous.
