Piano texture

Does anyone have any tips about variable-voice piano texture. I am ending up with a whole pile of redundant rests. Is there any way around this?

Also, if you haven’t turned on voice colors, that will help. It’s easy to unintentionally create new voices in Dorico.

“Remove rests” is one of dorico’s BEST features. Just select whatever you don’t want and click that command and they disappear like magic.
