The offline pitch envelope processing is absolutely horrible! The preview doesn’t even work correctly.
Take a look at how Adobe Audition handles it. You can select a range of audio, specify the envelope, and you can also resize the range selection of the envelope. It also allows for a ± 60 semitone range of pitch which comes in handy for extreme sound design. Nuendo only allows for a range ±16 semitones.
