Unless I’m doing something wrong, the Pitch Shifter module in the FX Modulator only goes up 7st (a 5th above tonic). Is there a way to get a complete octave to create a shimmer effect?
7 semitones is indeed the maximum. I assume that using higher values would sound too glitchy or be too unstable for real-time use with the current pitch shift algorithms.
I thought so myself. I’ve been using FX Modulator a lot lately to simplify my workflow because of its plethora of effects. I tried the free multitap Chow Matrix but its transposer is grainy whereas FX Modulator is smooth. Maybe in my next life…
