PitchBend Bug

Hi,

Is the Type of New Controller Events set to Step, please?

@martin,

Cubase 12 works fine on Ramp mode. This bug started on Cubase 13 on Ramp mode which is kind of essential because of the curves.

The video above seems to have the same issue.

I know the question comes a lot if we use Step mode, but the bug is specificly when using Ramp mode.

And we want this fixed, as I’ve mention no problem in Cubase 12.

No problems with midi monitoring

Nord Pitchstick behaves differntly on ramp mode, and works as expected in C13. Which is kind of weird. The problem occurs on a Komplete Kontrol S series mk2. No problems when playing , only after recording in cubase the Ramp mode draws a line up from the last to the first moment using the pitchbend.

Problem still not solved since mid February

Hi,

This is a known issue, if you record in the Ramp Mode (what want possible in Cubase 12).

Hi. I have the same problem. I’m also using a Komplete Kontrol MK 2. It is really annoying. Did you find a solution?

For understanding, i’ve lined it red

Hi,

The solution is to switch to the Controller Lane to the Step Mode.

Thank you for your answer. Could you give me a step by step description how to do that and where i can find this setting. I’ve already tried to find this setting in the key-mode.

With best regards

Hi,

In the conjuror lane down on the left, click on the arrow-down button. Change the Ramp mode to the Step mode, please.

Thanks Martin. I found it!!!

Hello, I found out how to do it by default with a keyboard command that I assigned, looking for the option in the shortcuts menu, simply assign it, and that way you will have a simple way for your future events to be in step.

Hi and welcome to the forum,

Thank you, it’s a good tip!

Unfortunately, it’s a toggle, so you don’t have it under control, as you would have if there were 2 Key Commands (one to enable Steps, the other to enable Ramps).

But again, it’s a good tip, thank you!
