Pizz. articulations

Dorico Pro 5 with Noteperformer.
There is a pizzicato articulation at the beginning of the player’s staff, and some pizzicato notes early in the piece that properly play pizz. on playback.
When entering later notes on the same staff, they play arco when first entered. On playback they pick up the pizz. articulation.
They should play pizz. as long as the pizz. articulation is in effect, no matter whether notes are keyed in on the staff, during midi input, or on playback.

In general, Dorico does chase these kinds of playing technique changes both when auditioning notes and when inputting them. If you have a contrary example, please cut it down to the smallest amount of instruments and bars required to reproduce the problem, and attach it here.
