Place or Import a graphic file into a frame in Dorico

Trying to put a picture on my title page, and with prior experience in InDesign, Photoshop, and Finale, I was searching “Import image into graphics frame”
“Place image into graphics frame”
and didn’t find anything… maybe some other user searching these terms will find this post.
Dorico calls it “Load…”
There’s no menu command for it. You have to double-click the frame to open the system dialog.

You can add images in Engrave mode using the frame tool. Just create a graphics frame at the desired position and Dorico asks you to select the file.

I can’t tell if you’re asking a question, but if so, I remember this spot in the manual helping me:

An old video, but might be useful as background on Frames:

That didn’t happen. The system dialog or file prompt or whatever didn’t happen, and it took around 45 minutes for me to guess the search term and find out how to do it. I looked everywhere… I finally stumbled onto the reference provided by @judddanby . My intent in creating this post is to add recognizable keywords for the function to this forum.

Yes, sorry. I remembered incorrectly. You have to double click (or press Return) on the created frame.

This is what I get when pasting your search query into the manual…

I think the first item is what you are looking for. So your “intent to add intent in creating this post is to add recognizable keywords for the function to this forum” would appear to be redundant.

Once again, I am deeply in your debt for pointing out the error of my ways.
Nothing came up in the Forum, nor in the Jump Bar, which was where I was looking. Now, if I were to search this forum, this post will come up.

I would have assumed you had searched the manual first. There you would get reliable and up to date information
