I’m just curious if there is a way to place lyrics inside of a 2-line staff? I want to use a 2-line staff anytime my soprano has to speak text freely, and for the sake of making the vertical spacing more compact, it would be great if I could place things in between the two lines of the staff instead of under both of them. I created a custom percussion instrument with two lines, but because I’m now using a percussion instrument it is being really difficult to work with. See my attached image for an idea of what it looks like currently. On a separate note, is it possible to center the rests between the two lines instead of having it sit on the bottom line?
