How I can set an Instrument to playback only the second time in a repeat region?

Hey folks. For R&B, jazz, etc., this is one feature that’s just shockingly absent from Dorico. Another is the inability to indicate straight and swung notes in a passage. If you want to capture the large market away from Sibelius, please please add these features. (And maybe a better way to have chords show only for a few bars for a few instruments when they’re soloing). Thanks muchly.

This is possible already, and I expect the “second-time-only” is already on the Team’s radar.

In Setup, specify “show in Chord Symbol and Slash Regions”
Add slashes or a chord symbol region to those few bars and you’re done.

I have Version 4.3.31.1134 and wouldn’t know (being in Write mode) how to notate (other than in text) “Please play only 2nd time” between two repeat signs

This feature came out in D5 so playback of this isn’t available in D4. From the D5 Version History:
You can possibly get the playback to work correctly with a Playback Technique that changes the assigned channel. Here’s a walkthrough I posted a while back.
