Playback in Write Mode - end repeats?

I know I’m new to Dorico (but not from other notation software), but why is playback so hard.

I have changed my end repeats > 2. no problem

  1. After Selecting the position of the playhead at the beginning of the bar, and kybd P (Play From Position or from the Transport window) , repeats are ignored. Play right through to the next bar?

What am i missing :thinking:

Found my issue. Looking again at the Playback Option to enable repeats, indicted I had an invalid repeat. Went back to the score and evidentally i selected insert bars in the right pane (Bars and Barlines) and had an end repeat in the empty bar. :roll_eyes:
