I recently downloaded the Dorico elements trial, but haven’t been able to get the playback to work. I watched the playback troubleshooting video on youtube, but still haven’t been able to figure it out. I’ve checked the ASIO Driver and I have Halion Sonic SE, but when I press the E button the instruments are not populated into the tracks. How do I insert the Halion instruments to work for the Dorico software? Thanks so much!

Please start a new project from piano template and enter a few arbitrary notes. Then choose from the Dorico menu Help > Create Diagnostics Report and post the corresponding zip file here. Looking at that I can give further advice.
