I am unable to play back audio in the AudioEditor. The error message is: “The audio connections are not valid. Check the Audio Conections dialog”.
When I check the Audio Connections dialog I find that nothing appears in the Audio Device dropdown
I have been using the current set-up without any problem until I accidentally clicked on something and my screen layout changed. Since then playblack has not been working.
Venom Blackbook, Windows 11, WaveLab Elements 11.1
Thanks for the suggestion. I have erased the folder at …\Steinberg\WaveLab Elements 11\Presets\Audio Connections, but when I try to use playback I get the same error message “The audio connections are not valid. Check the Audio Conections dialog”.
I have done a reboot but same outcome (and the erased folder has not been replaced).
That folder as mentioned by PG in the same post, must reappear when you click on audio connections. You can try to uninstall WL using Geek Uninstaller by saving your shortcuts and preferences (if you have any, from the preferences folder) and hopefully it must be working normal.
