PLayback output to Audio Interface?

Mac Studio M1 Max; MacOS Sequoia 15.7.4

Motu Audio Interface M4

Selecting Preferences→Audio Device Setup, Motu M4 is not in the ASIO Driver list to select?

Is there an issue sending playback output to an audio device?

If it’s not available to Dorico, is it safe to assume that Mac’s Core Audio can’t see it either? Is it visible in Audio MIDI Setup on your Mac?

Help → Create Diagnostic Report is also a good way to help the helpers help you.

Dorico requires special ASIO drivers for audio interfaces. I know that Motu provides such drivers for their interfaces, so please go to the Motu website and search in the Downloads area for an ASIO driver for your hardware model and install it.

On Macs? My Studio 1824c functions plug and play.

And you have no special driver installed for it?

Nothing, not even their UC tool - unles Studio One installed drivers behind the scenes. My Signature 22MT is also plug and play.

Musescore, Logic Pro etc, all recognize it since i’ve had Motu. Also can be selected from the desktop Sound pull down list

Display above is before i rebooted with Dorico not seeing M4.

Very weird I rebooted my mac and and I Dorico has it in the ASIO Driver list

Sorry for bothering you all

Is it not available under Edit > Device Setup?

just posted after rebooting, now it’s there
