Playing technique at end of tie

Hi everyone,

I need a (newly created) playing technique symbol to be shown above the last note of a tie. Not above the first note, above the last, and only above the last.
Every time I try to add my symbol to where I want it to be added, it appears at the beginning of the tie. Of course I understand why this is the default behaviour.
But can this be changed?

Activate the caret at the point you want the playing technique, then enter it.
