Please add the "undo" function for automation and plugin changes

Please add the “undo” function for automation and plugin changes. It’s hilarious that we have to close the project unsaved when accidentally moving an automation node or slider/value within a plugin, just because there’s no “undo” function for these actions. Thanks!

Undo function should undo the last action, wherever this action has been done

It’s a must have option. Undo for automation is necessary.

There are two Undo stacks in Cubase (actually more but nevermind). The plugins and the mixer console work on the VST undo stack. The default key command is Alt/Opt+Z.

I’ve been using Cubase for a very long time and didn’t know this, so, thanks!

Is there a viewable undo history for that undo stack as well (as there is for the “main”/project undo stack)?

Yes, there is. Open the MixConsole in its own window (not lower zone) and change its left zone to History.

Awesome, thank you!

Yes, but there is no undo for automation on a group tracks.
You can just undo added automation point, but the volume is stuck on the new value. If your volume was not at 0dB you need to browse previous or .bak projects to see the old value and set it manually.
The volume automation line is on the group track by default so it happens very often to draw automation by mistake.

I know it might be a bit confusing but these automation points are on the project undo stack.
