A couple days ago I did session where I used all of my inputs and many of the outputs - using Pro 9. Afterward I picked up all the cables, physically re-patched, then opened up a project I had been mixing before the session. In that mix, I’m using 22 I/O. Also, the project was a holdover from Cubase 7.5, so when I opened it in 7.5, all those External FX I/Os were right where I left them. It was glorious.
Why can’t Steinberg fix this to where it would work the same way within Pro 9?
Yes, I’ve been complaining about this for years, but I know I’m not the only one who finds this annoying.
I/Os should save with the project.
