I can’t tell you how many times I’ve mistakenly turned the master instead of the phones knob on the front only to find I’ve changed all my output settings! Because I use 2 MR816Xs as standalone mic pres, this can be disastrous…
An option to “freeze” the front controllers to “phones” would sure be nice (and in my case, indispensable)!
I would like it the other way so that the default option after switching on is Master selected - I never use the ‘Phones’ jacks on the MR’s!
But mainly I’d like to be able to install v.1.7.1 - it always fails.
OK, an option to be able to “freeze” any control on the front panel, or, at least be able to disable control from the front panel.
