Please Help!!

I am new to Cubase, and running into some immediate errors!
I am running Cubase7 from a PC.
My first error I noticed while following the video tutorials is that I don’t have a VST INSTRUMENTS rack?? I have made racks visible, but all that appears is the Media Bay. Is there something I can do to resolve this??
Also, when I go to Devices---->Plug-in Information, there is no tab for “VST2.x plug-in paths,” so I’m unable to find my other plug ins.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! really looking forward to utilizing this program for all it’s worth.

Hi and welcome,

VST Instrument Rack is in Cubase since Cubase 8. So it’s correct, it’s not in your Cubase 7.

“VST 2.x Plug-in Paths” is not a tab, but the button under the tabs. COuld you send a screenshot, please?

Hey, and thank you!

Okay, first off, I’m an idiot.
I don’t have Cubase 7. I have cubase LE8
Would that still mean I don’t have that rack?

Also, I guess I was wrong again. You are right, I was not looking for a tab, but for a button!
Shows my attention to detail. That being said, I didn’t find any buttons under the tabs. Here’s a screenshot/mashup I made using my professional art skills to illustrate both how I got there and the things I may (or may not?) be missing:

In all seriousness, I do appreciate the reply and am genuinely puzzled by this.
If there’s something I’m doing wrong, none of us would be surprised at this point. If you’ve got a solution, I’d really appreciate the help.

Hi,

In Cubase LE, there is no VST Instruments Rack, you are right. You can create only Instrument tracks.

Since Cubase 8, the VST 2.X plug-in path is under the Plug-in Manager. In the Plug-in Manager, click to the Plug-in Manager Settings (left dow). Then you can click the + button to Add a new Path.
