Or at least give us an option to disable it. It is very irritating and looks extremely ugly and cheap (made even worse by the fact that the track name isn’t even properly centered in the box).
EDIT: To clarify, I’m talking about the background turning black/dark grey on mouse hover.

This feature is annoying. Please remove it or make it option!
This throws me off as well. I want to hover or create focus on a track. Instead I end up interacting with a dropdown on the track.
The solution to this unfortunately is not a simple matter of just removing the background color feedback. It’s still a dropdown. The solution may be removing the drop down or changing it something else.
