Did you see the new folder tracks in Nuendo, where you can switch on a related group track? 
Then if you create a new track in the folder or you move a track into the folder, it will automatically be routed to the folder’s group-track etc. Exactly the way I imagined that for Cubase!

Pretty sure it was the Cubase vote thread that got it prioritized so it would be pretty damn mean if they didn’t 
I’m impartial on it though. There’s probably 100 things I would take before it.
I want this… without the automatic audio routing thingy. Just as a visual/organizational tool.
I have no idea how it is implemented in N15, but I hope they give us this option.

I’m pretty sure it will be in Cubase 16, but it probably will be added in Cubase 15 update to line up with N15, they probably couldn’t implement it on time on C15 release date
Yeah keep in mind, Cubase is on its own cycle and we just got an update recently. Nuendo was due up next so it got everything ‘new’ that was ready to go. Cubase may very well have this in the next update, but we’ll have to wait for its cycle to roll over to release time to get it.
If Nuendo has it in the current version, Cubase should ultimately get it so both are ‘in sync’.
OMG yes - we really do need this for cubase for sure, it would be awesome to create a folder and have a group created at the same time, then auto routing for each track you drag into that folder !!! that would be a game changer and a time saver for sure.
Today, Cubase is on version 15.0.10
Nuendo, as released, is 15.0.20
I expect there will be a .20 release for Cubase 15 real soon now … 
There might be, but if N15 is any indication (which I just paid a lot to cross-grade to), there are still some significant unfixed issues from C/N15.0.10, and I’m still on C14 because of one of them especially. I am an unhappy customer right now, I must say!
YES! If they add it to the .20 update I will instantly pay for the upgrade from 14, this is the last major workflow I miss from literally every other daw and the other features just didn’t justify the purchase for me but this would seal the deal.
Let the dev team fix the bugs before pushing these new features to Cubase

I am pretty sure that this feature is already implemented and part of the upcoming Cubase maintenance update. However, it might take a couple of weeks until the new update will be released. This feature was heavily promoted in Nuendo 15 and I assume they want it to stand out as a Nuendo only feature for a while. But that’s just a guess which is as good as anybody else’s guess.
We’re thinking about… maintaining the good vibes in here. What are you guys up to next Wednesday?
