Hi, I often import full tracks into Cubase to sample from and it’s a real pain having to go to project > pool and then search through a long list to find that particular audio file and then define the original tempo. It would be a huge time-saver if I was able to define the original tempo of the imported song or sample in the info section on top of the arranger window along with time stretch algorithm and transpose etc.
I often know the tempo of imported songs or samples but Cubase doesn’t automatically pick up tempos of drag-and-dropped audio very well. This small function would save me sooo much time
