In my old cubase i use to have a plugin folder and menu which let me use 3rd party plug ins on individual tracks but not as a vst insert etc. was right after the process menu…but it doesn’t show in 8. Just wondering if that is gone since i was using SX

Do you mean Audio > Process … or Audio > Plug-ins? This is not applied on a tracks, but on an events.
i did mean audio>plusg-ins but i don’t have an audio>plugins and that is the problem have installed waves and they show up in vst but there is no audio>plug-ins on my menu

You don’t say which version of Cubase you are running but Cubase Elements doesn’t have this feature so posibly this is why??
