Plug in latency delay compensation

I have a track that’s definitely slowing because of a plugin latency delay .
Should Cubase compensate for this ?
If not can i use the track delay with a minus to compensate ?
or is there another way ?
The track is 68.9 ms latency reading

Hi,

Does the track (or do you mean the Audio Event) really slow down? Or is it a static value (the Audio Event is delayed by a fixed time)?

Yes, Cubase compensates for the plug-in’s latency.

But if the Audio Event slows down, it sounds more like a different Sample Rate from the Project’s Sample Rate.

Thanks Martin,
I’m trying to make sure it’s not me.
Its a Halion Bass. I think it could be that it’s sounding too clacky
My dodgy MIDI playing could be at fault.
I just needed to know how it worked before I waisted lots of time.

Try a little quantise

Thanks. I’ve now noticed Groove Agent isn’t that accurate.
