Plugins for Mastering

Hey everyone,

This is my first post in the Forum. I’m looking at what are the best Mastering Plugins for use with Cubase Studio 4 version 4.5.2?

Also where is the best place to download free plugins for Cubase Studio 4.5.2.

As far as mastering, everyone has their own taste. You can probably find more info in the “VST Instruments and Virtual Effects Plug-ins” section.
As far as downloading free plugins, do a google search. Anything “vst” will work in CS4 as long as it supports your OS.
You will almost always find reviews on all of them.

Thanks very much. I am using a Mac with CS4 and am finding not as many Mac Plugins as Win OS’s.

Ok, in that case, you’d be looking for RTAS instead of VST. Windows def has the bigger selection. Good luck!

??? From which version Cubase changed plugin architecture from VST to RTAS on Mac? Definitely not in 4, which OP has … and AFAIK it’s not the case even with C7.

Haha! I was looking at the Mac thing. I’m back and forth between PC Cubase and Mac PT and that’s where I got the RTAS. 2 Studios, 2 formats. :slight_smile:
