Polymeter and multibar rest split

Hello every one, I’m dealing with with this kind of situation:

Where every now and then, some instruments go with 12/8 time signature in a 4/4 context. The problem is the in individual parts I have this:

There are unnecessary multibar rest splits along the parts. Has anyone know how to fix this? Thank you very much!

I’m not sure about what’s happening here. Instruments who stay in 4/4 shouldn’t get Time Signature changes:

It could be because you entered the hidden 4/4s after the 12/8s as global time signatures rather than local ones.

Thank you for you answer! Yes, it can be definitely this. But I have another question now: what did you type in the 12/8s popover? I think that’s the piece of the puzzle I’m missing

In this case (a global 4/4 TS with local 12/8): 12/8,8
It means that 12/8 will be displayed as TS, but this bar will contain 8 eights (i.e. it will have the same length as a 4/4).
