I accidentally enabled Popovers. How do I turn them off? Pro 5.
No, I mean Popovers. At least that’s what the Icon says. I have to manually input everything. How does one manually input a double bar? I’d I click on the Icon, it won’t shut off. Very aggravating.

If I click on the Icon, it doesn’t shut off; very aggravating. The tutorial is no help at all.
Do you mean a double barline by any chance?
Otherwise can you upload a screenshot?
Then someone can help you with specific information. 
Perhaps you need to click on Panels in the right panel? The popovers button is right below it, maybe you clicked on it by mistake.

If I activate a popover and decide I want to skip it, I press the ESC (Escape) key.

You can just type || into the popover, or double.
