Popovers on system track

I prefer composing with the score in Galley View and both for composing and for performing having the Bar Rests not shown in the score.
This leads me to a problem in inputting tempo and signature information before having input any music.

It would be awesome to be able to select a bar or bars in the system track and change the meter or key signature instead of going in and out of the meny.

You can double click anywhere in any bar to invoke the caret, or single-click any barline, and then invoke a popover. Does that solve the problem?
