Pops And Crackles

Hello Fellows,

I am a totally newbie Cubase user learning step by step …

I had one little question … why is it when I insert any loop (even the ones that came with Cubase 6) into my project from the media bay or loop browser into the project it plays with a lot of pops and crackles whereas when I preview it in the mediabay it sounds great … ???

Select the ASIO driver for your soundcard, and if it doesn’t come with one, download and use ASIO4all in device setup.
Increase the buffer size there untill the cracks are gone.
