Pops/Clicks After Firmware Update on UR28M

I installed the recent firmware update for the UR28M and with the same settings, I now have pops and clicks where none previously existed. Buffer size doesn’t matter. I can make it ridiculously high and still have the issue. Processing power and RAM are also non-issues. VST performance, not a problem. Syncing or not syncing with the Focusrite VRM Box doesn’t matter.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Steinberg support indicated that they have received other reports on this same problem. The update installs a new driver along with the firmware and tools. I rolled the USB driver back to the previous version and it works with the new firmware. The new tools aren’t an issue. That said, it’s probably just the driver. If you do the update, don’t install the new driver and you should be OK.
