Ports showing as "Inactive"

Hi everyone,

When I go into Devices>Device Setup>VST Audiobay and then select ANY of the drivers, the output status shows as “Inactive” and so I don’t have any sound coming out of the speakers (and yet I can play sound from other sources such as iTunes, internet, etc).

Does anyone know how to make them show as “Active”?

It’s probably something really obvious,

The really obvious thing is, that they become active automatically, as soon as they are connected to an output bus. Simply follow the getting started manual…
