Possible: filter all 16th rests? Change colour?

I have a vocal score where I’ve added breaths by putting in 16th rests. Is it possible to select all these 16th rests and change their colour?

Why do you want to change their colour? I ask in case there’s a better way to achieve the end result you want.

If you ideally want to notate this with full-length notes, rather than with rests, but you have the rests for playback purposes: you could instead write the notes the way you want the singers to read them, add breath marks, then adjust the notes’ played durations in the Key Editor for playback (this doesn’t affect their notated appearance).

Hi Lillie, there are a couple reasons why. For playback purposes ( I want to make mp3 files for choir members). However, before I make the mp3 files, I want to send my suggested breathing marks (rests) to another conductor for his input (will be sung by 2 combined choirs). I want them to stand out from all the “normal” rests in the piece.

I figured out how I can change the colour, I just wanted to know if there was a quick way of selecting all the 16th rests I put in.

You can make a larger selection and filter for rests, but I don’t think you can sub-filter just for 16th note rests.

Yes I tried that. Ok good to know. Thank you.
