I’ve been playing around with the 10.5 demo and really loving it, I haven’t upgraded since cubase 8. One question though. I’m pretty sure there was a tab in metronome setup to change the metronome sound. There were a bunch of choices, including cowbell, and even a drumkit. I even changed it to a stick sound. I went to look for that tab again to try out another sound, and I can’t find it anywhere. Did I imagine this? It’s driving me crazy…

Transport > Metronome Setup > Click Sounds.
yeah the click sounds tab seems to be gone… or am I not on the right screen? screenshot attached…thanks for your help
sure. Thanks for the reply. Just did with preferences disabled. Still no choice for click sounds…
should I uninstall and reinstall 10.5?

Yes, you can try to reinstall Cubase. If you are on Windows, make sure you:
- Download the Full Installer.
- Unpack the ZIP file and install from the unzipped folder.
- Install from the setup.exe.
- Install as administrator.
Thanks for the reply. I’ll reinstall it today. This is the demo for Cubase 10,5 though. Will I still be able to run it if I reinstall? I have 20 days or so left on the trial period…

Yes, you will be able to run it. The license is independent on the installation (in this manner).
