Possible to create layout with partial flow?

I have three movements in a work. There is a bridge between movements II and III, and the bridge material is in flow 2. Now I would like to extract only movement II, which would be the material up until the bridge starts.

Is it possible to create a layout containing only the first N bars of flow 2? I saw that a similar question was asked in 2018 and Daniel responded that it is something they’d like to do, but as far as I can tell it is still not possible.

Of course, I can just go into each part and put in a frame break and not print the last bit of music, or split the flow at the bridge. The problem with either of those is the bridge begins with a new time signature and has a double bar. That’s for the full work layout, but in the extract layout I would need no time signature and a final bar at the end of the last printed system before the bridge. As far as I can tell that also isn’t possible.

So I guess I have to create a copy of the file with just the material I need?

If you split the flow to separate the movement from the bridge, you should not have to worry about the cautionary time signature.

Adjusting the time between flows to zero in the Play Preferences would allow the bridge to play directly from movement two without a break when needed (unless there are tied notes between them). Pauses between movements when desired can use silent flows that only appear in the playback layout(s).

No need to create a copy of the file.

If I split the flow at the bridge, then I don’t get the cautionary time signature – that’s the problem. I want the cautionary time signature (in the full layout only), because from the perspective of people reading the music, the movement hasn’t changed yet.
