Possible to program one pad/sample to send off message to another pad sample? (hi hat pedal close)

Is it possible to program open/close hi hat samples so that one pad being triggered, tells the other pad/sample to stop???

you need to select the pads and go in the sample window where it says excl and change them to the same number and it will do how you want
