I would like the option to turn this on. It would need that channels with Edit in Place enabled get their own focus zones much like how the Projects Track Divider works. Once the user clicks into an Edit In Place zone, hotkeys are now focused to this Edit In Place channel. User can only click into one at a time.
using the ‘Project to Front’ shortcut key, would return focus to the general project window.
I would also appreciate a way to zoom only channels that have Edit In Place enabled. ‘Edit In Place exclusive’ or something.
Extending the different note display options and other MIDI editor features into the Edit In Place editor would also be appreciated. Sometimes EIP is just the better place to work in some situations.
