I’m looking for a way to ease my transition between my iMac and Macbook. Currently, I copy my Cubase 10.5 preferences folder between systems, which is a pain and I realize now that I should probably be trying to use Profiles to do this. I tried putting the preferences folder on my iCloud synced Desktop and creating an Alias but this didn’t work. I could try building some macros to export Profiles. thanks for your input

Why would you need to update your profile (preferences) daily?
Btw once you quit Cubase, it writes the data to the preferences folder. If you would have the source on your iCloud and an Alias in the Preferences folder, I expect the alias would be overwritten by the real files during the very first Cubase start or quit.
