I am looking at a preowned Steinberg UR-RT4 at Guitar Center. I understand that Steinberg has a new licensing system and would like to know about obtaining the software and having it registered. The item online does not indicate anything beyond the unit and the power supply. Is that a possible problem?
Yes. If the previous owner registered the included software and never filed a support request to obtain new Download Access Codes to be passed on to the next owner, I think you are pretty much screwed.
