Presets not found

Hi. today installed Cubase 11 as update from 10.5 with all all other items offered. When starting Cubase 11 get dozens of such errors:
FCP_SMT_057_HS_VST3_Presets_01:vstsound in VST Sound Library not found
In VST Sound Library “HALion Sonic Factory Program Presets 02 not found in C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Content\VST Sound\FCP_SMT_099_HS_VST3_Presets_02.vstsound
In VST Sound Library “HALion Presets 01 not found in
C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Content\VST Sound\FCP_SMT_106_HAL_HST3_Presets_01.vstsound
In VST Sound Library “HALion Sonic Factory Program Presets 03 not found in
C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Content\VST Sound\FCP_SMT_116_HAL_HST3_Presets_03.vstsound
In VST Sound Library “HALion Sonic Factory Synth Bass Presets not found in
C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Content\VST Sound\FCP_SMT_123_HAL_HST3_Presets_01.vstsound

Where xxxx ist the user home directory. Can ignore or delete, ignored the first couple and deleted the rest. What to do?

Hi,

These …HS_VST3 files are HALion Sonic (not HALion Sonic SE) files. Do you own HALion Sonic license? If yes, install its whole library, please. If not, uninstall it, please.

Hi Martin Jirsak, thanks. Have a.o. licenses for HALion 6 and The Grand SE 3.x. Is HALion Sonic something else? And - since there were dozens of error messages complaining about missing presets - is it Steinberg policy to let us install whatever stuff we like but only with errors and without any hints about price or other essential information? This would be annoying.

What we are accustomed to is that we’re able to install an app, test it for some time and buy it if we like it or otherwise remove it (or the app terminates itself). Is this alien to Steinberg purchase policies?

Hi,

HALion Sonic is just a player of HALion sounds.

I would probably recommend to remove all HALion Sonic libraries (by using Steinberg Library Manager) and install just the HALion content.
