Hi there,
I have some (ilok related) plugins I only use for mastering in Wavelab and I really don´t need them in Cubase. Is there any way to prevent them from loading in Cubase so they don´t get scanned everytime and so Cubase loads faster?
Thanx
Hi,
In the VST Plug-in Manager, select the plug-in and click Hide in the lower part of the window.
Thanks but that only hides them in the list. I´d like to select which plugins I want to actually load…
Maybe the solution is to store them in a different folder…
Hi,
I see. Sorry, this is not possible. With VST2, you could have a dedicated folder, which would be scanned by WaveLab, but not by Cubase. But with VST3 plug-ins, the path is predefined by the system (at least I believe it’s like this also on Windows).
You can try… Move some VST3 plug-ins to dedicated folder. Set WaveLab to scan this folder. Cubase will not scan it.
I´ll Try that.
Thanks!
