I would like to request the ability to preview imported MIDI files directly in MediaBay, using an available instrument or a user-selected preview instrument.
Currently, the AutoPlay button is available for Cubasis’ built-in MIDI loops, but it is greyed out for imported MIDI files, even when they are standard “.mid” files that can be imported into the project and played normally.
Being able to audition imported MIDI drum loops directly in MediaBay would make it much faster to browse large MIDI loop libraries, compare patterns, and find suitable grooves without repeatedly dragging files into the arrangement.
This would be especially useful for users who work with third-party MIDI drum loop libraries.
