I just want to print a mono gtr track. When I “export audio file” I have to check “mono downmix” to get a mono file. If I don’t check the box, I get a stereo print. Is that normal? Seems like if it’s a mono track to start with, it would print a mono (vs. stereo) track by “default”.
It’s normal. Most likely you have the mono track output set to the main stereo out.

Sure enough if I set the output bus to none, I get a mono file by “default”. Can’t believe I didn’t think of that
