Folks,
My plan is to use Cubase as the host, with Ableton as slave using rewire, and to then use Cubase for manipulating samples etc (using the excellent Loopmash plug in), and probably to do arrangement in. I make jackin house, which is very sample heavy, and lots of my contemporaries seem to use Cubase. I will keep using Ableton for my percussion, synth work, basslines etc.
I don’t have a huge amount of cash to spare, so I was wondering if I might be as well just buying Cubase Artist over Cubase Pro. Any advice? What are the extra features offered by Pro, and would I use them?
