Problem whit video

HI. I upgraded from nuendo 12 to nuendo 13. I opened the project and the video player remains black. I tried to import the video again but it remains black. if I import the video to Cubase 14 the video can be seen, what can I do? I use the Windows operating system and I have an urgent deadline

I don’t know the answer the your issue, but wanted to post just to say you can use Nuendo 12 with your Nuendo 13 license to continue your urgent work.

Check your setting under studio setup, it might have changed during the upgrade as it happened to me.

This is nuendo 12

Nuendo 13 and cubase 14 have the same setting. Cubase Is ok Nuendo 13 no☹️

Tatiana,

Silly suggestion but have you tried resizing the video window, ot try making a second video track and moving the video file down

how to do it?

Resizing video window works the same as resizing any window in any os.

I did both things but it doesn’t work. I also changed the video format and codec but none of them work.

It would be helpful if you specified what codec or container you tried.

If the program won’t display any video, maybe there is a component missing. Reinstalling the program might correct that problem if it exists.

It’s a little bit difficult to help, because there’s not much technical info in your posts.

I solved it in a strange way.
When I opened the menu to select open as administrator I noticed an item “Run with graphics processor —>nvidia high performance” I clicked on it and now it works.
if I open the program as administrator or just by clicking on the icon it doesn’t work, if I open with a graphics processor it works.
